President Obama proclaims NFW
President Obama has
issued a
proclamation for National Family Week, Nov. 22 – 28.
This observance, led nationally by the
Alliance for Children and Families, is celebrated by
thousands of families in communities throughout the nation.
“When
America’s diverse families and children are healthy, our
nation benefits,” said Peter Goldberg, president and CEO of
the Alliance. “That is why we are encouraging everyone to
take time during National Family Week to get involved in
ways that support and strengthen families and communities.”

longer term civic engagement work.
